so with each passing day, isang libro ang natatapos! or should i say, 1.5 books? pwede ba yun? hmm basta nakakatapos ng isa, makakapagsimula ng isa na di matatapos! basta ganun!
and now, i have a new favorite author by the name of... (tantananan!!!)
RICHARD PAUL EVANS!

So natuwa ako sa A Perfect Day kasi maraming quotable quotes.. Tapos kanina, naghanap lang ulit ako ng isang libro, tas di ko ineexpect na may isa pa pala akong nabiling Paul Richard Evans.. hahaha.. AT mas maraming quotable quotes.. hahahah!
About his writing, more like Romantic stories with a twist---about hope and change.. Parang ganun..
A Perfect Day--prang finding your way back to the most important things in life; rearranging your perspective in life.
The Sunflower--"El Girasol", an orphanage in Peru. The story is about love, adventure and hope. Hmm pero ok yung twist. To escape and then to find yourself in service of others..

Di ko pa nababasa yung talagang bestseller nya, The Christmas Box--hoping to find it soon! Wahahha!

From The Sunflower
"There are times, it seems, that God throws a cosmic switch that moves the tracks beneath us, hurling our loves headlong in a new and uncertain direction. Of these times just two things are certain: It's best we don't know what's ahead. We can never go back."
"The surest way to minimize your own burdens is to carry someone else's"
"As much as I have schemed and planned to the contrary, the most central experiences of my life have all been accidents"
"Today I overheard as American teenager comparing her deprivation to that of our children, because her parents would only buy her a used car. There are none so impoverished as those who do not acknowledge the abundance of their lives." (I TOTALLY AGREE! Bump Bump)
"Feelings can be like wild animals--we underrate how fierce they are until we've opened their cages."
"Fate has a way of cutting corners"
"I have come to believe that the only true way we can serve God is to serve His children"
"It's always fascinating to watch the Americans meet the Amaracayre--they are so amused with the tribe's peculiarities that they fail to see that the Amaracayre are equally amused by theirs. One teenage girl thought it odd that the chief has a bone through his nose and didn't notice that he was just as fascinated by the metal posts in her nose, tongue and ear."
"We never feel more alive than when our existence is uncertain"
"We carry around in our heads these pictures of what our lives are supposed to look like, painted by the brush of our intentions. It's the great, deep secret of humanity that in the end none of our lives look the way we thought they would. As much as we wish to believe otherwise, most of life is a reaction to circumstances."
"Absence is to love what wind is to fire--it extinguishes the small and inflames the great."
"We spend our lives building higer fences and stronger locks, when the gravest dangers are already inside."
P.S. The coffee season has ended. Huling inom ko ata ng starbuko ay 2.5 months ago.. I now pronounce Richard Paul Evans as my new flavor of the sem! whahahaha!
